Counselling is an unspoken and not obvious activity of Father Shafiq’s parish life. It consumes about 15 hours of his time weekly, and is carried out quite often face to face or on the telephone. Many parishioners would like to discuss important personal problems with their priest, and many problems need several weeks or even several months to be solved. One problem concerning one of our parishioners has already taken about 60 hours and it is not yet solved.
