Beside telephone contact, every week Father Shafiq visits his parishioners at their homes, especially during the weekends. However, it is impossible to make more than six visits every week, because of other duties and activities in the parish. Therefore, Father Shafiq is quite selective in his visits, and he choose usually to visit the most needy ones, especially those who need him to discuss their problems, or to celebrate a special event in their homes like a birthday or family gathering. Also, he gives a special attention to a new family in the parish, which enjoys an immediate visit from him in order to greet its members and to add them to the list of the parish.
